Shakespeare & Co.

A good place to have an afternoon tea at when shopping in Dubai Mall is Shakespeare & Co. 😉 The cafe is designed in a very colorful Victorian style… chairs and sofas of bright colors, with classical mix and match patterns! No table is set in a way to have a matching set

This is the kind of place that I appreciate the kind of design used in but do not wish to have it for myself – if that’ll make any sense? Well let me try again! If I were starting my own cafe or restaurant, that wont be the look I would go for! Too much is going on here….. I, however, do not mind to be in such atmosphere every once in a while for a change 😉

I visited it when I was in Dubai a couple of months ago with my cousin and her daughters… we were actually invited for a relaxing afternoon tea by our Dubaian cousin and her daughter 😉

The service was good… staff are welcoming! We picked a table and browsed through their menu!  Non of us was hungry enough to try anything so we opted for drinks..

Me, myself, and I ordered Jasmine tea…. and it came in in a clear pot with jasmine flower… the leaves starts to open up and the flowers begins to bud and slowly emits its aroma till it fully opens

Eye candy 😉 I enjoyed my time and the company! Jasmine tea is my favorite herbal tea and it was the time to have one after walking around in the mall all day!

Shakespeare & Co. is a nice place to have a quick tea, and maybe some quick bite – though I cannot judge their food (I did not try anything) 😉
