If you are looking for a casual Latin dining, Las Iguanas is the place 😉 We love this restaurant that we make sure to dine in there at least once while in Milton Keynes. They offer a variety of dishes, yummy dishes I must say. The staff members are so friendly… and the place is quite nice – very retro-like lamps and art deco-y wallpapers… very spacious too 😉
Looking into their menu – they cater to all tastes, many options for vegetarians and nut-allergic diners!
We started off with Virgin Fizz – a drink made of cranberries, elderflowers, and lemonade.
Very refreshing but a bit on the sweet side.
I wanted to have a bite of everything, so it was a good thing that they served Tapas 😉 I LOVE TAPAS!!
I ordered chicken quesadillas (a dish that I love so much) and it was so so so good! The guacamole on the side was creamy and fresh and creamy yummy creamy!
Nachos – nothing special about them… they were good though 😉
And Pato Taquito – roasted shredded duck and caramelized onions wrapped in tortilla rolls with spicy sticky chili jam… it was interestingly good… I liked it, but the quesadillas were my favorite
I also ordered a side of beetroot salad. I ordered this salad because I was drooling while reading the ingredients on the menu: beetroot, oranges, pomegranate, feta, spinach, and rocket leaves topped with chipotle and olive oil dressing…. This salad was definitely made for me… my taste buds! It was very tasty to the point where I shared it with my dad – and I dont share food you know… but it was just TOO GOOD not to be shared. Does that make any sense? LOL
My dad ordered Sea Bass con Coco – a Bahian dish of sea bass fillet, mussels, crayfish tail in saffron and coconut broth – very fragrant and very tasty! My dad gave me some – he is a very kind man 😉
Our bill came to a total of GBP33.40 – which isnt bad at all considering the yummy food and amazing service experience we had that night!
Las Iguanas is located in The Hub – Milton Keynes and their tel # is 01908 251040. They are open Monday – Saturday 11am – 11:30pm and Sunday 11am – 10:30pm
