I am sure many of you agree that after spending your time shopping at Selfridges you look for a quick bite before you continue round II (or go back to your home/hotel)… and I am also sure many of you drop by Yellow Cafe at the basement (I see many Kuwaitis every time I pass by it)! I met Luluscious at the cafe that day
We both wanted a quick bite but sadly they were out of salads that day 😦 So we opted for raspberry lemonade. Lulu ordered Victoria Sponge Cake, while I went ahead with their yummy carrot cake
The carrot cake was yummier than the other one, which was not… hmmm spongy enough? I liked my carrot cake for that I prefer moist cakes more than spongy ones 😉 Our bill came to around GBP20 (cant remember the exact price)
Other than that, it was a very inviting atmosphere, with smiley staff… and Christmas decorations all over the place 😉
Yellow Cafe is situated in the basement of Selfridges Central Atrium, and they are open from 9:30am Monday through Saturday and 11:30am on Sundays 😉

Oh yes the Yellow Cafe, is the “honeypot” for rb3na ;p They are famous for their dulcet Carrot cake, and I love their afternoon tea.. Lovely scones. 3awaffii 😉
