Cocomaya

Cocomaya is an artisan bakery and chocolatier located on 12 Connaught St in London (there are more branches around London). I was invited by my friend Luluscious, who is currently living there, to have a quick bite before we go shopping… She’s a loyal customer there and often goes to get baked goodies from them! I happily accepted the invitation.

The bakery is where we placed our order… there were many options to pick from, lots of bread, rolls, croissants, pies, cookies, biscuits, cakes… you name it! And the smell + display were fabulous! I opted for a black coffee and a pie (cheese, cherry tomatoes, and basil leaves). Luluscious also ordered a flourless chocolate cake to share. Since the place was packed, we went to their store next door, the chocolatier.

Their chocolate selections and ingredients were to die for! I wanted to have a piece of each LOL! I must say its very nicely done… both stores, with a VERY friendly staff members too!

The setting in their Chocolatier store was basically a long common table… so you sit with others and enjoy your food/desserts!

I didnt get my coffee, so I went into the bakery to inquire about it… and if I am not mistaken, the owner was there… he asked if there was anything wrong with my order, and I told him I am just waiting for my coffee… he was very polite, very nice, and very apologetic! He hurried one of the staff to get me coffee and ask me to go sit back and relax while they bring it… he then came to the chocolatier store just to make sure I got it and apologized again! It was very thoughtful of them…

The coffee went GREAT with the flourless chocolate cake ❤
