Hello everyone! I just wanted to drop a quick hello to you all… so “HELLO” 😉 and tell you that I am currently not in Kuwait. I am on vacation (and have been for the past few days) and will be back in December! That is why I am not replying to email and blog contact messages in a timely manner! I have prepared few posts here and there for you (as you can see) but will try to update you with more once I get the chance to 😉

I love those outings where one of my friends would call and ask “What are you doing RIGHT NOW? Do you wanna hang out” – where we end up doing basically nothing, but sit back and relax at either my or her house! I have a few friends whom I keep doing this with and we end up having the greatest times ever! On Eid’s eve, my friend Amna called and was like… “Wanna have green tea at my house?” I was in… with effortless look, sweats and flip-flops… I grabbed some fruit flavor (mango, strawberry, and lemon with mint) Gelato Italiano I got from my friend Dalal (of Gelato Italiano) and headed there.
I got in there while she was busy painting a corkboard frame…. she set it aside and we sat down by the pool… enjoying red velvet cupcakes, ice cream, green tea, biscuits… and a GREAT company!
I just love those random out-of-nowhere outings!
My very kind friend, Dalal, always spoils me with ice cream from her store… She would send me endless samples, and few kilos of ice cream here and there every now and then! She would also take the extra mile sometimes when I am not feeling well, pass by my office, pick me up on my break and treat me to some gelato! How can I not LOVE this girl!
Well anywhoooo… she got me some last week; a box of chocolate, biscotto (her favorite), and their new flavor ❤ Peanut Butter ❤ (read more about it here)

She said making cakes, decorative ones, is her new hobby and she doesnt know how long it will last (I hope she does not stop – Mimmi, DONT lol)

I guess most of you know by now that we go to Sheraton Hotel – specifically to Shahrayar – on the second (sometimes third) day of Eid. This year it was also my dad’s birthday so we arranged with the restaurant to prepare a Black Forest cake for him.
The restaurant was not as full as I expected… I guess everyone is out of town this eid… it was visibly different… even our table shrunk because some family members are traveling this eid!

Every now and then, I pick random Dean & Deluca tins to try at home. Mimmi, my sis, loves Baskin Robbin’s Mint n Chocolate chip… so as soon as I laid my eyes on this tin of mint chip maltballs, I grabbed one and tried it with her at home (I ended up eating most of it). I loved their creamy minty texture -covering the crunchy ball inside- in my mouth (kinda like Malteseres only in mint and chocolate chip flavor).
