I guess most of you know by now that we go to Sheraton Hotel – specifically to Shahrayar – on the second (sometimes third) day of Eid. This year it was also my dad’s birthday so we arranged with the restaurant to prepare a Black Forest cake for him.
The restaurant was not as full as I expected… I guess everyone is out of town this eid… it was visibly different… even our table shrunk because some family members are traveling this eid!
We knew exactly what we wanted, so we didnt even bother to look at their menus…
As you can see I am experimenting with my new camera and while up there in Shahrayar, I tried to snap different pictures here and there – having fun with its super zoom
By the time we were done with our food, we asked the manager, Mr. Sameeh, to tell the Oud band to play “Happy Birthday” tunes on their oud for my dad while bringing the cake… you should have seen his reaction! His face was all red LOL
Happy Birthday dad :-*
