STB – Intro

I will be posting about STB – London trip on my blog exclusively with P0ach. For today, I have Β a picture with all the participants (click to enlarge) along with a brief intro. Stay tuned for more on STB – Kings College, London πŸ˜‰

Small To Big takes the first step to introduce businesspeople to a customized entrepreneurship course at King’s College London. Sixteen Kuwaiti businesspeople participated at the course that was fully sponsored by VIVA Telecom and organized by Pink Coffee Marketing & PR.

The course uses dynamic teaching methods to interact with participants. The course helped form a bridge between strategic ideas and action, taught participants how to deal creatively with difficult problems and tactical detail, and provided them the tools needed to develop a practical strategy framework for an organization or leadership team. Through discussions and interactive learning methods, the course helped participants challenge established thinking in a compelling and persuasive way while providing them the tools needed to deliver high growth strategy in live, dynamic situations. Most importantly, it gave them an understanding of how to formulate and implement a breakout strategy.

The organizing team from Pink Coffee included Dana Al Otaibi, Shamlan Al Bahar, and Maryam Aleisa. Fahad Al Fahad also joined STB as a representative from VIVA Telecom. We tried our best to make this a wonderful experience where participants would have practical academic knowledge while enjoying themselves at the beautiful city of London.

Jamie’s Italian

After walking around the city of Guildford, we decided to have late lunch/early dinner at Jamie’s Italian!

It was nicely decorated… it was my first time at Jamie’s Italian! As we were walking to our table, I saw one of the chefs preparing fresh pasta – fresh pasta made in house πŸ˜‰

I scanned through their menus, I looked for Continue reading

Warnham (Horsham) & Guildford

Few days ago, I went with my best friend Lulu and her mom to visit their relatives in Warnham Village in Horsham, a district of west Sussex.

The place is quite nice! So peaceful and the residents of the village are so welcoming and friendly! We took a walk around the area… its just Continue reading

Shooting The Moon :-P

This is just a random post of pictures I took using my new camera, Canon SX30 IS. First shot was taken November 11th and last one was taken on November 19th πŸ˜‰ Enjoy!

Java Detour – AlBida’a

A while back, Java Detour opened another branch in AlBeda’a (their first branch is in Kuwait City).

It is located in AlBeda’a new Arjan extension right next to Melanzane. I loved it so much that I made it my new stop for all meetings I have in the afternoon. I also met a couple of my friends a couple of weeks back there… and I was able to snap a couple of pictures at that time πŸ˜‰

I must say that I am in love with their Ethiopian roast (their signature), iced tea, soy lattes, and I also like their avocado chicken salad!

Fresh food, aromatic great coffee, and friendly staff!

Papabubble

My friend Alfa+ sent me an email full of pictures taken at the Papabubble candy factory. Ever since I received that email, we could not stop thinking about those candies… so I went ahead and ordered some for us online from New York. The price of which was okay, but the shipping was ridiculously expensive, although I was warned by the store owner – who was super nice and very friendly Thanks Fiona πŸ˜‰ – I ordered them anyways… SO GOOD!

As you can see, I ordered two kinds of candies; fruit and NY

We used to have those in Kuwait back in the day… the size was a bit bigger if I am not mistaken, but I cant find them anymore… any idea where I can get those from? Oh and below are some Continue reading

Napket’s Lychee Icy Yogurt!

A while back I posted about Baskin Robbings Lychee ice cream flavor in Bangkok… I was hoping we can get something similar here in Kuwait! I guess my prayers been answered πŸ˜‰ Napket introduced Lychee Icy Yogurt a while back (and I forgot to post about – but its never too late)

I loved the exotic taste! It was as good as ice cream only its healthier πŸ˜‰ I am happy to say that lychee and frozen yogurt make a good couple πŸ˜›
