Here is an update from the Triathlon Team:

Yesterday was the first of the two days race kit collection invite to all participants in the flying start triathlon v.02. We had a great number of participants walk in through our registration doors this afternoon. Each individual got a brief orientation on the race course and received their race kit which included their racing chip, race numbers, race program, category bracelet and race hat, in addition to other goodies.

While I was busy briefing the incoming athletes the rest of our team were busy installing the transition area on the beach of marina hotel, where the race is set to start, panels and bike racks were put up along with carpeting.

We also took our caterers BAKING TRAY for a tour around the race site to show them the most convenient spot to offer their delicious brunch boxes to our athletes and spectators post race.

Almost everything is coming into place before the big day!  Good luck to all our athletes and marshals alike for they have a daunting job ahead of them when the dawn of the 29th of October finally breaks!

Our night ended with a trip down to AlRai television studios where I got backstage access to THE 3 CLUB & VIVA‘s interview about our year long partnership and commitment to promoting triathlon and its positive aspects among the Kuwaiti community.

Tune in for more updates and exclusive images , only on Ansam518!
