The Spice Club

My sister and I finally decided to dine at Spice Club, the Indian Restaurant in 360 Mall. A contemporary Indian restaurant serving North Indian cuisine.

We sat outside, the place was semi crowded at around 4:00PM. Staff were friendly. Atmosphere was warm and cozy.

We browsed through their menu. I opted for butter chicken with plain biryani rice, while my sister ordered rogan josh and steamed white rice. We also ordered garlic naan. While waiting, and like most Indian restaurants, we were served pappadam with two sauces on the side. A very yummy complimentary dish in every Indian restaurant I have been to in Kuwait. I love <3!

The Naan arrived shortly after, hot and fresh out of the oven. I could eat it as it is with nothing else.

And the food arrived… moment of silence, just look at the picture and admire the art of Indian food, the aroma, the colors, the spices, the taste, the presentation and simplicity in the presentation!

A piece of art, I must say! We were FULL half way through (I blame the naan :-P) and I would say if you aren’t heavy eaters, one pot of rice is enough for two 😉 You just gotta decided on which rice you want… they have more options.

The bill came to around KD15 (Sorry I lost it :-S).

Spice Club is located in 360 Mall next to Zahr Allaymon and opposite Signor Sasi, and their Tel # is 2530-9512. Instead I came across their Facebook group (link).

  10. Dal makhani is a dish made from boiled lentils and beans, its very rich so don’t think about calories when you order it. 😉

  11. FYI, Pappadum is what it is called in South India. In North India, it is papad 🙂
