Zahr Al-Laymoun

I kept hearing two extreme opposite opinions about 360’s Lebanese restaurant Zahr Al-Laymoun! I thought to myself… there is only one way to find out, and that is by paying them a visit of course ๐Ÿ˜‰

The restaurant setting was nice… felt like sitting outside in a garden or a farm! French country like setting, bucket like lights, wooden chairs, watering cans, flowery cushions…

The menu was one piece of hard wood… English on one side and Arabic on the other.

I liked the variety and options given to lots of dishes! Hummus came in two or three kinds! The Kibbeh too… stuffed in tabbouleh, labneh, or original! I snapped SOME pictures since we were hungry and forgot to snap most of the dishes

The above picture consisted of spices mixed with olive oil to use as a spread with bread… Although that was good and aromatic… the bread wasn’t fresh! They turned hard quickly ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Their appetizers were AMAZING! But as I said, not too many pictures ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Their Sheesh Tawouk, which is my favorite Lebanese dish, comes in three different flavors; original, zaatar, and spicy! I was debating whether I should go with the zaatar or the original so my sister and I decided to have both and share the flavors with one another! The zaatar one tasted really good ๐Ÿ˜‰

I decided to be creative with my baked potato so I added sumac, garlic, and olice oil… my little sister suggested I add some of the spices given earlier as spread… it was really good!

All in all… I liked the appetizers more than the main dishes! I wouldย definitely go again for appetizers only.. which is something we usually do in Lebanese restaurant!

Zahr ย El-Laymoun is located on the first floor (L1-30B) of 360 Mall and their phone number isย 25309511

  3. Yeah I’ve been to it. Looks lovely. I didn’t favor most of the food, and I think they were slow.

What really made it worse are the small flies (not theban though) moving all over. When I told the server he said “Ohh yes, we keep spraying them with no good” Huh? Spray where exactly? And even if, it’s not my problem.

I thought this is a very high price to eat among insects.

    • Yuck!! Little flies :-S

Our waiter was fast and the manager checked in with us a couple of times! Maybe you went when they first opened!

  4. Talking about zaher el laymoon, the best thing in lebanon is when you pass by the trees their and you can smell the fragnance of zaher el laymoon in the whole area, sob7an allah its like smelling a part of heaven on earth.

  8. nice review.

enzain, would u rank it comparing to Villa Fairouz and Sheraton’s Al-tarboosh (These the only Lebanese restaurants i go to when i come to q8 )

    • I dont like Sheraton’s Tarbouch much! I like Villa Fairuz more, but the sheesha and loya there is not all that! This one has nicer atmosphere but Villa Fairuz got yummier food! And as I said, we almost always go for appetizers when in Lebanese restaurants

  9. Ansam Forget about this Zaher el Laymoon B.S and go try “9ob7 oo Mesa” also at 360 Mall .. it’s from the same owners of Villa Fayrouz .. Don’t miss out on 3 things .. 3arayes .. Fatoush .. Kebab bel laban ๐Ÿ™‚
