Baked Monte Cristo

Ingredients:
************
3 eggs

3 Eggs
2/3 cup milk

2/3 Cup Milk

1 packet 1/2 packet of onion soup
Swiss cheese

Swiss Cheese

Turkey (more than one kind)

Turkey & Cheese

White bread
3 tbs butter
Powdered sugar
Cranberry sauce (optional)

Method:
********
*Preheat oven
*Butter the jellyroll pan
*Make sandwiches (bread, two slices of two kinds of turkey, and Swiss cheese slice) and cut them into small pieces (I cut each into 4)
*Beat eggs, milk, and onion mix
*Dip sandwiches into the mixture then place them in the pan
*Bake for 20 mins on one side then flip them over for another 10 minutes on medium heat

*Let cook and take out of the pan
*Sprinkle with powdered sugar

Taste even better with cranberry sauce!! It was all gone! YUMMMMM

  2. add some nutmeg and cream to the egg mixture + place a piece of bacon on the melted cheese

  3. They look so GOOD! Ansam, you need to tell us how hot the oven is for baking the Monte Cristo. And you trimmed the crusts! They are so elegant!

    • I preheated it at 220… then decreased it to 180 when I placed the pan. After a bit I lowered it even more to 150, when I flipped them over it was at around 50 only

    But I liked it with Rasberry sauce instead of cranberry
    Try it with rasberry, its amazing!
    Its cool that u made it baked and not fried, a little less sinful ๐Ÿ˜‰

  5. Ansam โ€ฆ they look delicious! Will raspberry or cranberry be served as dipping sauce? Iโ€™ve seen something where cranberry sauce was used instead of mayo!
